In 1999, I co-founded the Asian School of Cyber Laws, dedicating 16 years to advancing cyber investigation and law. During this time, I:
Assisted the Government of India in drafting rules under the Information Technology Act.
Investigated cybercrimes and data breaches across 18 countries for industries like aerospace, banking, law enforcement, pharma, and shipping.
Authored the Cyber Crime Investigation Manual, hailed as a "bible for cybercrime investigators" by the Times of India.
I first stumbled upon Bitcoin in 2011 while investigating a drug mafia case. Fascinated by its technology, I mined some bitcoins but made one of my biggest mistakes—deleting my private keys.
In 2015, I began exploring blockchain full-time, spending months studying Bitcoin’s underlying tech and setting up multichain blockchains. The following year, I co-founded Primechain & BankChain, a blockchain consortium of 37 banks alongside IBM, Microsoft, and Intel. We developed self-building blockchain ecosystems with cutting-edge web apps, PWAs, and REST APIs.
My expertise also led me to consult for the Reserve Bank Innovation Hub, contributing to a whitepaper on Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) and Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs).
I’ve authored the Blockchain Engineering Playbook and the Tokenization Playbook.
